Tour de Co-ops is almost here! A bike ride to explore LA’s awesome bike co-ops!

We will have two routes that both end at the party at Bicycle Kitchen.  The first will start at CSUN Bike Collective in Northridge, head over to Bikesan@s del Valle in Pacoima, ride down to Valley Bikery in Van Nuys and finally to the Bicycle Kitchen in Silverlake (with a stop at the Noho red line station if you don’t want to bike the whole way).

If you plan to start with us at the Bikery we will meet at 5pm and ride at 5:30.  We will have snacks and refeshments!

Tour de Co-ops NORTH Route

The second route will start at Bikerowave in Venice, then ride over to Bici Libre near downtown, then up to Bike Oven in Highland Park, and finally end at Bicycle Kitchen in Silverlake as well.

Tour de Co-ops SOUTH Route

You can join either route at any of the bike co-ops, so that you ride only as many miles as you want to.  Please note the meet-up times at each co-op.  The pace will be relaxed, and no riders will be left behind.

The afterparty at Bike Kitchen is sponsored by New Belgium Brewery and Comida No Bombas.  Enjoy good food, good beer, good music, and good people!  Meet cyclists from all over the city and learn about all 7 of LA’s bike co-ops!

Tour de Co-ops is Free and is also a Fundraiser!  Wait, what?  Yes, you may choose to register for the ride for $35 to help support your awesome local bike co-ops (we really need it to keep providing services!).

If you register you get lots of perks! Food at every co-op we stop at, dinner at the party, a New Belgium beer at the party, a T-shirt, and a raffle ticket!  And it will be cheaper than if you buy food, beer, a T-shirt individually the day of the event!  And anyway, where else can you get snacks, a workout, dinner, a drink, and a T-shirt all for $35!!
